„The most unusual Zoch“
Cologne’s Rosenmontagszug took place in 2021 despite the coronavirus pandemic. But on a scale of 1:3 in the event hall of the Carnival Museum. The revelers from the Festkomitee Kölner Karneval, led by procession leader Holger Kirsch, had an idea in keeping with the session’s motto „Nur zesamme sin mer Fastelovend“: together with the legendary Hänneschen puppet theatre, they organised the most unusual „Zoch“. WDR was there with its cameras, so that not only the puppet theatre audience in front of the Old Town backdrop could enjoy the event, but also the viewers at home. Just like every year. Only the production conditions are a little different.
